It’s time to get back to basics when you have a shelf full of trendy and fancy skin treatments but nothing gives you the results you need. One of the best, all-purpose ingredients in the pantry is raw honey.

Honey can be used to wash your face, make a scrub, treat your skin or your hair. Honey is a perfect addition to any skincare.

Start with clean skin. Lay a wet and warm washcloth on your face to open up your pores before applying the mask. After washing off the mask, rinse your face with cold water to close the pores. Then follow with your usual skincare.

It is always recommended to do a patch test before trying out any honey face mask. Occasionally, honey, when combined with other ingredients, may lead to allergic reactions on your skin.
